Rip Van Winkle

While I was reading Rip Van Winkle as first it was kinda confusing. I had to re-read many sentences, phrases and paragraphs multiple times before I actually understood what was going on in the story. While reading the story one thing that caught my eye is the little trolls and elves in the story that Rip Van Winkle saw. He described them very good as in what they were wearing and what they looked like. I also enjoyed the pictures while reading the story online.

His dog, Wolf, was his bestfriend and whom he talked to while he was avoiding his wife. And he said that Wolf was feeling the same way he did just because of the way he looked at him. Rip Van Winkle said it looked as if the mountains began to throw their long blue shadows over the valleys because the sun was starting to set.
